The COVID-19 pandemic is disrupting so many aspects of everyone’s lives and has been devastating for families and communities around the world. While the pandemic has put some of our planned in-person events and project work on hold, protecting New Mexico’s waters remains a priority for our staff of five who continue our important work remotely. (Our office is open by appointment Monday through Thursday 9 am to 5 pm.)
In the midst of these unprecedented circumstances, our staff would like to convey our gratitude for our dedicated members, volunteers, partners and funders. We have always done business under the belief that we can have a positive influence on people by protecting New Mexico’s waters – the source of health, strength, and life. Together, we will continue our fight to defend clean water for the sake of our collective lives and well-being.
As the staff of Amigos Bravos does its best to continue our work of protecting and restoring New Mexico’s sacred waters, we wish you health and wellness in the face of this very challenging time.
For the Rio,
Joseph Zupan
