Because Water Matters — Since 1988

We have a vision of New Mexico’s rivers and streams running so clear and clean that you can bend a knee to the water, cup your hands, and drink without fear.

Join Fellow Nature Lovers/Conservationists for a Letter Writing Campaign Over Beer & Pizza!

Thursday, October 19, 2017  |  5 pm - 8:00 pm

Amigos Bravos office, 114 Des Georges Place, Taos, NM

The Carson National Forest in New Mexico is currently taking comments on their draft forest-wide plan components. Amigos Bravos and the Western Environmental Law Center (WELC) are working to make sure both the Valle Vidal Unit and the Wetland Jewels of the national forest get specific and focused management plans that will ensure the health of these important ecosystems.

This letter writing night will help you have a say in this once-in-a-generation management plan revision. Beer and pizza will be provided! Drop in and write a quick letter or stick around for a while and enjoy some beer and pizza with fellow nature lovers/conservationists and check out our new digs. (Formerly the home of the Taos Community Foundation.)

Directions: Head east at the light on Quesnel. (La Cueva restaurant is on the northeast corner of the intersection. Turn left at the first driveway on the left. You will see our big blue and white Amigos Bravos sign on a building almost immediately on your left. It's an adobe territorial with light blue trim and a wraparound porch. Head to the end of the drive and park in the parking lot at the end of the lane adjacent to Eskes.
